Just Hangin' Out

Great Pop Pop

My daddy had a bike race Saturday. It's a good thing my mommy took pictures because I slept through the whole thing. I also slept the whole ride there. Long rides make me sleepy.
After the race we got in the car for another long ride. When I woke up I was in a strange place. Mommy and daddy are always taking me to strange places without telling me. Anyway, there I saw this guy...
I wasn't so sure about him until he kissed my hand,
then played with my feet.

I guess he's okay. I think I'll smile! He's my great grandfather, I call him great Pop Pop. He just moved into an apartment with my great grandmother. Great Mom Mom is my namesake. I met her for the first time today. I wonder where mommy and daddy will take me next...

I *heart* my Bumbo!

My mommy went to the nearly new sale. She brought me home this silly looking purple thing. Then she sat me in it. Is she crazy?

Big Changes

There has been some big changes around here lately. I turned four months old on Monday. There was no party or anything, but I did get another trip to the doctor and got four shots! It's a good thing I only get those every few months or I don't think I could stay this cute. Anyway, onto the changes.
First, I found my feet! They were right there at the end of my legs! Who knew?!? Now when I get a diaper change, my feet come up and I put them in my mouth. I can get both of my big toes in my mouth at the same time. Poor mommy and daddy have been trying to get a picture of that all week! I take them out as soon as I see the camera.
The second change is food! I started eating rice cereal this week. I'm not too hot on it yet, it kind of tastes funny. It's a little bland I think. I wonder when I get the good stuff.
The last change isn't really a change, but I got to spend extra time with Daddy this week. I think it's because I'm getting to be such a good girl (I hear that alot). I play more and take better naps, so we have much more fun!
Oh, I almost forgot. I've outgrown most of my clothes and now I have all new (at least new to me) outfits! I love being a girl. I bet boys just walk around in stinky diapers all the time!

My Swing

This is me in my swing. When I was little, I liked to go really fast. Now that I'm bigger, I don't like the swing to swing at all. I have too many things to grab and try to put in my mouth and the swinging makes me dizzy.
I wish you could see my feet in this picture because they are really cool and I grab them all the time now. It really makes Mommy and Daddy laugh when they are changing my diaper:)
One of my other favorite things is not having pants on...I get a better grip on my feet!

Fun in the Tub

Daddy can sure embarrass me sometimes when he videotapes me. I do love the tub though. My other favorite things are babbling, smiling and laughing. Oh, I almost forgot...and eating!

My First Cake--YUM

Mommy and I went to Grandma's house in Pennsylvania so the Grandma's neighbors could meet me. I slept most of the time. When I woke up, Grandma showed me this awesome cake. She had me cut it, but then I wasn't allowed to eat any of it. Then a bunch of people passed me around the room and oohed and aahed over me. I had a great time and showed them my best smile!
