Six Months is a Busy Time

I've been very busy lately and haven't had anytime for blogging. And Daddy hogs the computer...something about work. I really have no idea what he is talking about. Anyway, I turned six months old (yea, me) and of course that meant more shots. I took it like a trooper this time though and barely cried. Just a little sniffle to let the nurse know I wasn't completely happy. I'm getting bigger, I was 13 pounds 12 ounces and 26 inches long.

This is me modeling one of the many dresses my Nanny made for me. She takes good care of me and helps my Daddy with me on Mondays.

Aunt Nancy and Uncle Paul came to visit us too. I had so much fun with them Aunt Nancy bought me a swimsuit with Ariel on it. She is some kind of princess, Mommy says I'll learn about her in a movie. I can't wait, I love TV! Here's Aunt Nancy feeding me something orange, I'm not sure what, but I liked it!
The same weekend I turned six months was Father's Day. Since my daddy is so cool and likes coffee, I got him a mug with pictures of me and him on it. It's way cool! Also that weekend I was baptized. The priest poured water over my head and I wore a fancy gown that my Auntie Gail made me.
Auntie Gail is my Godmother.
And Uncle Zane is my Godfather.

Fast forward to this week. My mommy has been home all week because she has a sore belly. She gets a little mad when I kick her while I'm nursing, go figure. Anyway, today I was able to try out my new swimsuit and floaty at Miss Amy's house. I wasn't real sure at first because the water was a little chilly.
But Mommy kept encouraging me...And I had a good time!
I could walk around in the water and everything! I can't wait to go again. My boyfriend Colin (Miss Amy's son) was supposed to swim with me, but he got crabby and went to take a nap. I had the pool all to myself! Boys can be such babies sometimes!
I'll say bye-bye for now. Mommy has some video to help me post hopefully sometime this weekend. Oh, I almost forgot, I have two teeth on the bottom! Mommy says they are razor sharp!!

Rain, Rain Go Away!

Daddy had a bike race today. Just like all his other races this year, it rained. I don't mind the rain (mommy keeps me dry), but today there was thunder and lightning. The race was stopped for a while and Daddy got real sad while he watched the rain from the back of the car.Now inside the car Mommy and I had a blast. She always brings something for me to do. I had my rings (my favorite)...
And my bug and Square Man. Somewhere is my little monkey...I think I may be sitting on him.

Mommy always has her camera at the race. We played peek-a-boo in the car. I see you!

After the race, Mommy went and picked up my new van (yes, I said MY new van, without me she would still be driving her old Subaru). I'll post pictures later.Bye bye for now!

Great Pop Pop

My daddy had a bike race Saturday. It's a good thing my mommy took pictures because I slept through the whole thing. I also slept the whole ride there. Long rides make me sleepy.
After the race we got in the car for another long ride. When I woke up I was in a strange place. Mommy and daddy are always taking me to strange places without telling me. Anyway, there I saw this guy...
I wasn't so sure about him until he kissed my hand,
then played with my feet.

I guess he's okay. I think I'll smile! He's my great grandfather, I call him great Pop Pop. He just moved into an apartment with my great grandmother. Great Mom Mom is my namesake. I met her for the first time today. I wonder where mommy and daddy will take me next...

I *heart* my Bumbo!

My mommy went to the nearly new sale. She brought me home this silly looking purple thing. Then she sat me in it. Is she crazy?

Hey, wait, this is kind of fun...
It makes me giggle.
And I can be eye to eye with mommy and daddy!
The Bumbo totally rocks!
