The Curse of Friday the 13th

Last Thursday Mommy and Daddy woke me up early for some reason. I wouldn't find out for a few days what that reason was. Mommy and Daddy dropped me off at Debbie Daycare. It wasn't my day, but I had fun because Jake and Colin were there. Then Nanny came and picked me up and I spent the weekend at Nanny and Pappy's house. I always have fun there.
Well apparently, while I was innocently playing on Friday, Mommy and Daddy had another baby. A baby sister.
Her name is Leah Nicole.
She's pretty darn cute.
And she sleeps alot!
This is her and Nanny. I can't believe I have to share Nanny and Pappy!
When I met her, she was in the swing. She loves the swing. Much more than I ever did. I hung out and watched her for a while.
She gave me a present. One of my favorite things...an airplane!
I guess she's pretty cool. Even when she makes silly faces like this.
Here's me helping Daddy with Leah. I hold the towel in case something spills.
I guess having a sister is pretty cool. I wish she could play with me though. But Mommy and Daddy say I have to wait a little.I'll keep you up to date on how it's going. The jury is still out on whether Friday the 13th is a curse or not!

Happy Halloween!

As you know Saturday was Halloween. For the second year, we went to Main Street in Ellicott City to trick or treat at the shops. It's tons of fun and you can cover alot of places in a short distance. First, we went to our favorite coffee shop for some nourishment.
Then I got on my butterfly costume. I was very sad that there was no candy in my bag at the start. But soon my bag was so full, Mommy had to empty it into her bag. We met up with the Friedmans and company.
We also ran into our friends the Maclellans

There were all kinds of crazy dogs dressed up too!
I wanted to play with all of them!
Here are some videos!
Trick or treating with the little dog!

My costume is a butterfly! For those who don't know, that is my mommy waddling beside me. Yes, I said waddling:) Good thing I'm too little to get grounded!

I finally got the hang of this trick or treating thing, but I was not sharing with Colin!

I hope you had as great Halloween too!

Clark Elioak's Farm

As promised, here are the videos from my outing at the petting farm with Mommy and Daddy. First, I went on a pony ride. I look like a pro, don't I? That's 'cause this is my second pony ride!
We checked out some sheep.
I fed some goats.
I went down the Mother Goose slide a couple times.
I chased the chickens. You aren't supposed to but my parents encouraged me to!
Then I picked out my punkin'.

I took a long nap after all this action!

Fall Fun!

Last week Mommy, Daddy and I went to Clark Elioak's Petting Farm. It's tons of fun. I can pet animals, climb stuff, and, of course, pick out my pumpkin for this season. I picked this little one, but they made me keep looking.
This one was so heavy, Mommy had to help me hold it.
This one was just right! Now it sits on our front step, just waiting for the trick or treaters! I have some fun video of me chasing chickens, but I haven't been able to get through it all. Hopefully, I will post that later this week.

In case you don't know, fall is cyclocross season. It's the kind of bike racing my daddy does in the fall. Mommy and I go to most of his races and we get to ring cow bells and stuff. It's alot of fun. I haven't been on my bike in a little while, so watching Daddy has motivated me to keep riding. I take my riding very seriously.
But seriously, can't Daddy tell that my seat is too far forward. That's how much I've grown!
Ahh, much better, I'm not eating my knees anymore. Daddy has to help me steer still.
I really didn't want to put on my helmet. Not only did my legs grow, but so did my head. It was too tight when they put it on me. But then, Mommy adjusted it and Daddy put his helmet on just for me.Daddy is such a good sport. I hope the neighbors were watching...hehehe!After a hard ride, I like to relax in my dolly's stroller.
I wonder where my dolly is???

Princess Maddy

This is my new castle. It may have a picture of Dora on it, but it belongs to me, Princess Maddy. It's inflatable and is surrounded by water (balls) and it's lots of fun!

This is my wand. I have magic powers and it squeaks every time I cast a spell or grant a wish. I'm kind of a princess/fairy godmother.

This is me checking myself out on video. All Princesses must look pretty at all times.

I Love Playgrounds!

I love hanging out at any playground. We went to my daddy's 'cross race last Saturday and they had this huge playground. Nanny and Pappy met us there. Pappy took me up real high.
And across a bridge...
To the slide!
Then Nanny caught me! I even went all the way up to the big spiral slide all by myself!
Pappy pushed me so high on the swing, my mommy couldn't watch anymore:)
Daddy did not have such a good day racing...poor Daddy:(
On Sunday, Mommy took me to Emma's birthday party. Emma lives next door and plays with me alot. She has horses and had them at her party. I went horseback riding for the first time. Mommy took lots of pictures, but then erased them all before she downloaded them. I think Mommy's brain is being sucked out by the baby in her belly! I should be able to post a video of me on a horsey soon though!

Later!

Weekend at Nanny and Pappy's

This post is a little overdue. I'm just now recovered from my fun adventures last weekend. I spent the weekend at Nanny and Pappy's so Mommy could go to the Ravens game and Daddy could race. On Saturday we went to the Frederick Fair. I had so much fun. I went on a bunch of rides, even a roller coaster! Pappy won me this cool Dora wand. I call it a balloon 'cause it's filled with air. Every time you squeeze it, it squeaks!
This is the best toy ever!
Mommy got me a scary book for Halloween. I need to keep my tags close by!
Yes, I still hold tags and suck my thumb...what are you gonna do about it?!?!
