Identical Sisters

Leah and I are growing up fast. Don't we look alike? As far as little sisters go, Leah is a great one.
I just want to pinch her cheeks!
She turned four months old!
I recently started to use the potty. Check out the sweet Princess Potty that Nanny gave me. It plays songs when you make. I have yet to make it sing:(
I also like to do things for myself, like snaps pulling on my clothes, and putting on my socks and shoes.I recently learned to count to 20 and I know my colors. My parents are impressed. Now all Leah does is eat. She eats her hand.
Her toys.
She even sucks her thumb already...I wonder who taught her that???
Seriously, look at her. She looks like a baby bird waiting for a worm! She loves her crazy doll. It makes her giggle.
She can't roll over yet and Mommy was told by the doctor that Leah needs more tummy time. But Leah hates tummy time and so Mommy doesn't make her do it. Does that make her spoiled?
Leah can sure scoot around though. She started out in the same direction of the lion. I guess she wanted to put her feet up!
That's it until next time!

Me, Leah and Halina

My new favorite thing is painting. Nanny showed me how to use a paint brush. I also like finger painting. Check out my beautiful artwork!
I was careful at first, but it didn't last long. I used four colors: red, yellow, blue and green.
Believe it or not , all the paint came off me and my clothes! Mommy was happy. In other news, Leah turned three months old. Mommy and Daddy don't take as many pictures of her that they did of me:) I wonder why...maybe I'm just more photogenic.
Leah is very cute. Check out the look on her face.
She is wondering why Mommy is taking her picture and not feeding her!
My best friend, Halina, turned two! She had a big party with lots of kids!
I had fun on the seesaw with the new friends I met there!
Do you like my fancy hat? It says 'fun to be one', but I'm really two!
Then we had yummy Elmo cupcakes. It had bright red frosting that got everywhere. But once again it came off me and out of my clothes. Maybe Mommy is just a laundry whiz (NOT)!

It's Been a While

Oh my! We have been so busy I haven't had anytime to blog. Don't I look so sleep deprived. These pics are from January. I wanted to get you caught up. Leah is growing like a weed. She is going to be bigger then me soon. She doesn't do much but eat, smile, poop and sleep...not necessarily in that order. She had alot of action in January though.First, Mommy took her to visit her friend Miss Dawn (not to be confused with Miss Dawn that cuts my hair).Miss Dawn had Baby Robert on December 19th. If you recall, we had a big snow storm that weekend. I call him the snow baby. He's very cute. Leah is slightly larger than Robert.
Leah was so excited she fell asleep in his swing. Notice the wardrobe change. Leah had to spit up all over Mommy. She such a little jokester. That Leah.

Then we got a visit from Auntie Gail!Mommy was happy she finally got to come. My cousin Holly came too!
Then Grandma came.Uncle Paul and Aunt Angie brought her.
This is me doing one of my new favorite things...watching Barney on Mommy and Daddy's bed. We are still single level living because the basement isn't done. So I got to hang out in their room alot. I love it. And I love Barney. Thanks Nanny for the video for Christmas!
I'll have more pictures soon!

Leah!

Leah started daycare today! Mommy had to go back to work...BOO! I told Leah I would show her the ropes, but she doesn't look convinced does she?Maybe she's just upset because it looks like her chin is going to eat her head. hehehe.

No More Mullet

Just like most toddlers, I grew my hair out into a mullet. All business in the front and party in the back. It was quite unruly, just ask my mommy. So Mommy took me to see Miss Dawn on Saturday. Miss Dawn cuts Mommy's hair too. She chopped my mullet right off!
Of course I made her chase me all around the salon.
But when she caught up to me, I listened really well! I tried anyway.
Leah was really unruly and did this the whole time:) She's a real chunker, isn't she?
So here is my new 'do!

Two Months Already!

Leah turned two months old on Wednesday. I know what happens when you turn two months...you get lots of shots. Poor Leah, that's why she has this frightened look on her face at the doctors office. Leah was 12 pounds 1.8 ounces, 23 inches long and her head was 38.5 cm. When I was two months old I was also 23 inches, but I was only 9 pounds 4 ounces and my head was 38cm.
When she got home and took a long nap, she was much happier.
Check out her shirt...
'Here comes trouble'...understatement of the year! Hehe!
Leah is now sleeping in her crib and no longer needs her bassinet. So I thought I would try it out. Other that the fact that my legs hang over, I found it quite comfy.
In case you were wondering, that is my Ravens jersey. I've been carrying it around all week. What can I say, it's got a great tag!

It's Been a While

Christmas at our house was very mellow. We didn't go anywhere because of the weather. The day after we went to Nanny and Pappy's house. I got lots of fun stuff. One of my favs was the yogurt balls that were in my stocking.
My Aunt Katie and Uncle Zane got me this cool baby doll. She came with a bottle and all kinds of other goodies.
Here is Uncle Zane burping my baby. I think he's just practicing for real life:)
I got this cool squishy ball.Uncle Zane got a snow globe that I thought was very cool.
And here is Uncle Zane practicing with a real baby. That's Leah by the way.
Here is me helping Aunt Katie feed Leah.
It's so hard sharing my sister with everyone...NOT!
Mommy thinks I look just like Daddy in this picture. What do you think??Last but not least, here are some up to date pics of Leah. This is her waiting for the second coming. And here she is with her head half falling off.
Leah doesn't sleep this well at night and that's why Mommy is tired all the time. Mommy is also starting to get sad because she has to go back to work in four weeks.
See you soon!
