Lewes Beach!

We went on a vacation! Mommy and Daddy got a house right on the beach. I could see the water from our deck. Here we are day one at the beach after the loooong drive to get there. I think EVERYONE was going to the beach that day.
Leah was less than thrilled at first, but she liked it in the end.
I brought all of my sand toys and my noodle. I love my blue noodle!
The best part was my boat right outside! This is the ferry that goes to New Jersey. No matter how many times it came and went to New Jersey, I never got a new jersey. Go figure.
Nanny and Aunt Katie came for a couple days. We had so much fun!
Aunt Katie is silly.
Leah sat in a high chair in a restaurant for the first time. Mommy is paranoid that she's going to rock herself out and land on the floor.
Leah just played peek a boo.
She is silly too!
One night, actually two nights, we went to this place called Funland.
I rode so many rides! There was the helicopter, the merry go round, the hot air balloon, the boat, the fire engine, the truck, the swings, the airplane, the teacups, the cars, and the ball pit jumpy thing. I'm sure there's more I've forgotten!
I went on the really fast cars! They even went backwards! My favorite ride ended up being the teacups! I went on three times in a row!
We even went Outlet shopping and guess who was there...BARNEY!
We ate out alot. Leah ate and slept so much on this trip it was like she was growing right before our eyes!
This is me looking scared that Leah is going to eat my fingers.
We ate ice cream every night. This is a well deserved sundae after Mommy and Daddy had us out in the Burley for a long, hot ride. Leah did not like her bike helmet!
Daddy grilled out.
And Leah turned nine months old on our last day there. Nice drool, Leah.
She had a fun birthday. She ate and slept!
Check out her snaggletooth!
Here is the path from our house. Bye, bye beach and ocean. See you next year!

Almost Heaven

Mommy took off a few days and we went to visit our Auntie Gail in WV. We were also visiting our Great Aunt Nancy and Great Uncle Paul! They were in Maryland for Leah's baptism. We followed them to Auntie Gail's which was fun, especially at the rest stops when I could use the trailer's potty!
Of course, little Leah came along too. Mommy had to give her a bath in the kitchen sink!
She was having so much fun.
And then got distracted by the dog walking by. She is so close to sitting up without falling over. And let me tell you the girl can eat some food. Cheerios, puffs, pattypan squash, sweet potato fries, chicken, steak, you name it! Watch you fingers! She's got three teeth and she's not afraid to use them!
We went to the big pool where my cousins work a couple of days. But they got me my own pool for the backyard! It was so much fun. The water was cold on the first day!
I stole Leah's float!
And it flipped over on me!
We got our picture taken with Auntie Gail and Uncle Brian. These are outside their house. Way behind us are where the cows come! MOOOOOOOO!
Uncle Brian is kinda goofy!
Here is us with Uncle Paul and Aunt Nancy (or Miss Ancy as I like to call her). They had their trailer right there at Auntie Gail's house. I love that!
They are alot of fun too!
Next stop, the beach!

Catching Up!

Sorry it's been so long since the last post. Things have been very busy. As of three weeks ago, I am potty trained! Yeah! Mommy is the most excited. I still need a reminder once in a while, but usually I listen.

Most days our world is revolving around Leah. She gets alot of attention for an eight month old. I mean she's cute and all, but come on! Just look at her in this shirt, really, you have to advertise that you are adorable. I think we got the message.
She thinks she's so cool too because she can almost sit up. Look at all those pillows. I've got news for you Leah, I can sit up, no pillows needed. I do like to use the pillows to put on the floor and jump onto though. That's fun, and skill.
Don't you think I'm cute too?? Less of the adorable way and more of the "I'll comb my hair when I'm good and ready; future stunt woman" kind of way.
I must admit, I do love having a sister.
And we do have fun together. Just so you know, Leah had nothing to do with the marker drawn on the carpet. That was all me. BTW, Leah was eight months old exactly in this picture.
Leah was baptized today. It was in the church gym, during my nap time. I had a hard time sitting still with my mouth unopened.
Here we all are: Godfather Chris (Mommy's brother), Leah, Godmother Katie (Mommy and Daddy's sister-in-law), ME, Daddy and Mommy.
After the baptism, we had cake and then I went to Nanny and Pappy's house for a few days! No daycare this week. Off to WV on Wednesday with Mommy, Aunt Nancy (or Miss Antsy as I like to call her) and Uncle Paul.
As you can see, Leah is enjoying her time alone with Mommy and Daddy.
Hopefully, I will have some fun pix from WV!

Happy Half Birthday, Leah!!!

Leah turned six months old today. Gone are her grumpy five month old looks. Now she always looks like she is having fun!Or has a secret...
Or just thinks duckies are really cool!
Leah had to go get those yucky shots today. This is what she did when she got home...for two hours! She never let go of her butterfly during her whole nap.
Mommy made us pose for some pictures together. I had to hold Leah since she can't sit up on her own yet.
This is our baby birdie pose.
She's kind of slippery to hold onto!
But I never dropped her!
Happy Half Birthday, Leah!
Now, did anyone make a birthday cake?!?!?
