Photo Shoot 2011

Last Friday daycare was closed, so on a whim, Mommy decided to take us to the mall to get our pictures taken together. First Mommy forgot our barrettes and had to buy new ones. That should have been the first clue to turn around and go home. But Mommy never knew when she'd get the opportunity again, so we trudged on with the nightmare. First, Leah was terrified of the photographer and ran screaming to Mommy as soon as she saw her. So the photographer decided to take some of me by myself. I gave her my best smile, scrunched up face and all.
So she tried to get me to relax my face.
It's really hard being this cute.
I really liked posing without Leah...don't tell her though.
I even was able to get rid of my scrunched face!
Then she brought our a piano. It was fun to play and just my size.
Then the scrunched face made another appearance:)
Finally, Mommy was able to calm Leah down with Goldfish crackers. Thanks to Auntie Gail, Leah is addicted to them! So here she is with her mouth full.
Mouth full, but sharing with me.
Mouth really full!
She just kept stuffing them in!
This picture just cracks Mommy up!
I finally got Leah to smile by tickling her! She usually isn't suck a crankpot!
Look we sat still for one minute! Ok, it was only one second!
Wardrobe change and the scrunchy face is back!
Leah smiling again! See her big dimple!
What do you know, Goldfish crackers!
After that, Leah melted down again and I got to get my picture taken solo again.
Yes, I am really this cool.
She told me to smell the flowers, but they were fake. Someone should tell her...
This is my best non scrunchy face.
Mommy got in on the act in the end in an attempt to calm Leah down. Mommy wan't expecting to get her picture taken.
Leah kind of calmed down, but not enough. The photographer was none to happy with us by the end. Leah had crumbs everywhere and there were really no good pictures of us together.
Maybe next time...if there is a next time!

Watch Your Fingers

I have the face of an angel. I mean, just look at me. Even with spaghetti sauce on my face, I'm an angel.
Leah, on the other hand, is a human garbage disposal. She thinks you should eat magic markers.
Maybe she's looking for jelly inside or something.
I'm still an angel. She looks innocent. But hide your apples! She could eat one in just one bite!
And she' still not talking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I guess she's too busy eating!

It Always Snows When Daddy is Out of Town!

So Daddy is in Arizona and it's warm there. Meanwhile, we had almost a foot of snow. it was so pretty. It clung to all the trees. These tree branches usually don't touch the ground. And these trees look like they are taking a bow.
We had a snow day with mommy, mostly because Leah had a fever yesterday. But she was better today. She got all bundled up and sat in the snow. She loved it and giggled while we played.
Here we are together. Leah reminds me of the little brother from A Christmas Story with her snowsuit on. I think the only reason she just sat there was because she couldn't move!Emma played with us outside too! She's my favorite neighbor. The neighbors really saved us today. Between snow blowing the driveway for mommy, digging out the truck, feeding Leah and I fresh baked cookies, and playing with us, Mommy was able to keep her sanity:)
Here is our snowman (or snowgirl) in progress.
It's really a funny looking thing. But it was my first snowman ever.Since Leah cheered us while we made it, we let her in the picture too!
Notice Leah's leg warmers. She is so stylin'!
I hope you had a good snow day too!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

We had a great time over the holidays. I didn't have to go to daycare for two weeks, so Daddy stayed home with me and Leah. Isn't he lucky?!?! On Christmas Eve we went to Nanny and Pappy's. I got lots of fun stuff in my stocking. So did Leah.
But she preferred the wrapping paper over everything!
I got Goldfish.
And so did Leah.
Mommy had to help Leah with her presents.
I could open all mine myself. I got lots of jammies.
And I got a pretty sweater, which I put on over top of my jammies I insisted on wearing over my clothes.
I got a dolly with a whole bunch of clothes.
Of course, I took all the clothes off of her! Her name is Abby.
Abby is bendy.
On Christmas morning, Santa left me a game! Daddy plays it with me.
Leah got a barn with some animals, but she preferred a little piece of wrapping paper, as usual.I got a hat and glove set.
And another one.
Leah got a book in her stocking. To be honest, the girl needed to start talking for Christmas. She driving us all crazy with her baby act.
I got some cool dress up shoes. To go with my cool dress up clothes. Do you like my earrings?Poor Boulder was once again neglected.
So later that weekend, Mommy and I made him some dog treats.
Really, it was mostly me.
Mommy was just getting in my way.
Boulder loved his treats! I hope everyone had a great holiday like I did!
BTW, I am wacko for Flacco!
