I love Salmon

Let me tell you about the new things I've been doing besides crawling and cruising. Last Friday I started pointing. I point at things and also just at nothing at all. I started to follow along in books and turn pages instead of always trying to shut and eat the book. I still like chewing on books, but what's a girl to do. Today I said "no" and "uh oh". Mommy said it was cute. She doesn't really know what she is in for, but I do!
I eat more and more food that Mommy and Daddy eat. This week I started eating salmon. It is so yummy that I was making smacking sounds! I also at carrots and couscous. I drink pretty good out of a cup.

Only three and a half weeks until my first birthday!

Road Trip

So today we went to Lancaster, PA to visit my Aunt Angela and Uncle Paul. They have two dogs Lucy and BB Guy. Lucy was very interested in my toys. She looks innocent, right?
Well, not so much. She has this long, cold nose and she kept stealing my toys, especially my Little People. Funny, those are the toys that Boulder steals too.
I figured if Lucy was going to steal my toys, I would steal her bed! But I wasn't really tired. So I decided to harass my uncle.
I found my favorite toy...the remote!
After I ate the remote, I played with Auntie Angie. She's so much fun!
She protected me from Lucy. And then I played with Lucy's necklace.
I beat auntie up a little.
We clapped! One of my favorite things to do!
I snuck up on uncle again.
After the day I was very tired and slept the whole way home. I had a blast!

See you later!

What I've been up to lately

I've been real busy lately. I had to watch Mommy and Daddy eat all my Halloween candy. It bummed me out. So things that have been keeping me busy are: messing up the kitchen rug...That was funny!
Hanging out with Boulder...
We even yawn together.
I sometimes sleep with my butt up in the air. What of it? Daddy thought it was so funny, he took my picture. Paybacks, Daddy!
I also learned how to pull myself up into standing! Sometimes I even let go and wobble around for a while. I will take some steps with Mommy or Daddy holding my hands. But I won't let them take a vid until I get better!

I love all my new toys Mommy got me at the garage sale. I can never decide what to play with. I do like my reflection in the fireplace though...what a cute baby!

I also learned how to crawl on my hands and knees. My boyfriend, Colin, taught me. It's really faster.

Well, tomorrow I'll be 11 months old! I'm getting ready for my party in a month!

Trick or Treat!

Mommy and Daddy dressed me up like a lamb and took me trick or treating on Main Street in Ellicott City.
Daddy held me while I picked out candy. I didn't find out until later that I wasn't allowed to eat the candy! It was all for Mommy and Daddy!
After we were done, we stopped at the coffee shop for a coffee break. I was tired. Trick or treating is hard work!

We met up with Miss Amy, Mr Mike and their two kids Collin and Jake. Collin is my future hubby. Yes, that's right, I'm in a prearranged marriage. Is there something wrong with that?? Collin was a lion.
Here we are with Jake. He was dressed up like a robot. He got a lot more candy than I did!
Here's a vid of me getting some candy...for Mommy and Daddy!

Busy Week

Well, I'm all done with swimming lessons. Not to brag or anything, but I'm pretty sure I was the best swimmer in the class. So on Thursday instead of going to the Y, Miss Tracey and Halina came over. Halina is two months younger than me and very cute. You'll have to excuse me in my pj's, I had just gotten up from a nap.Halina and I like play together pretty good for babies.
After they left, Mommy and I went to the mall to try shoes on for me. We didn't get any, Mommy said she would buy them online, whatever that means. Notice my forehead. There are no bruises. I look pretty as a picture.
Lately, I've been trying to pull myself into standing. I do alot of sitting up and playing in my crib too. Well, these activities have led me to fall on my head. And here are the results of my lack of coordination. I got both sides of my head. I cry when I bang my head. Mommy and Daddy have been calling me 'Bonk'. Is that mean?
Well all this practice makes perfect. On Friday, Daddy stood me up in my crib. I fell down, but then I was able to pull myself up!
On Saturday I had to show Mommy. I went to bed, but then I pulled myself up. Mommy came to check on me 'cause I was crying weird. This is what she found...
I pulled myself up, but I couldn't figure out how to get back down. I'm going to be walking soon , so look out!Yes, I'm very proud of myself!

Ellioak Farm

Today we went to Clark Ellioak's Farm. There was all kind of fun stuff to do. First, we walked around and met all kinds of animals that I've only seen in books. I got to get close and pet them. This goat was very cute.
This horse thought my pumpkin socks were a carrot. This donkey got so close to eating my foot that Mommy freaked out a little:)
The pigs said 'oink, oink!'
Check out this funky chicken!
I rode around on Daddy's shoulders! Here''s me petting the Angora Goat

Then we went to go pick out a pumpkin in the pumpkin patch! There were so many to choose from.
"I want this one!"
I could pick it up myself!
I wonder what it tastes like?!?!
I was very happy to find my very own pumpkin.
Me pickin' my punkin'

When we were done, I was so tired. I tried to nap in the pumpkin patch, but Mommy and Daddy took me home with my pumpkin.
