You Can't Win 'Em All

Today the Ravens played for the AFC Championship.  I know this because Mommy told me and I got to wear my Raven's jersey.  I love wearing my Raven's jersey because it is purple, my favorite color.  I also like the number five on it, even though my favorite number is eight.  Actually, Mommy says I'm obsessed with the number eight.  The Raven's lost a heartbreaker, but we are used to that and we don't dwell on it.

Despite the loss, today was a great day.  My friends Brielle and Finley came over to spend some time.  One of the things we did was get out one of Leah's Christmas presents and play with it.  That reminded me, I never wrote about Christmas!  This year, I actually sat on Santa's lap and asked for a purple bike.
And I got it!  Geez, I wish my parents were that easy!
Leah didn't really ask for anything, but she got alot of fun stuff...Mrs Potato Head,
A dog that breathes...but doesn't eat and doesn't need to go for walks!
A Princess Barbie and the sled in the background (that was from Santa, he's pretty smart!)
 New jammies from Nanny!
Umm...don't ask 'cause I'm not really sure about the "Olivia Newton-John" look going on with Pappy and Leah.
Anyway, back to today.  Leah got this playhouse for Christmas and we hadn't set it up yet.
So Mommy and Daddy put it together...
And the four of us went to town!
 We colored...
 and colored...
 and colored!
How do you like the rainbow roof courtesy of Brielle?
We sat together and did some Brain Quest.  We played outside for a bit...
And had some Chili for dinner to take the chill off!
I love spending the day with great friends!  And my sister too, of course!

Let's Back Up a Little

I turned 4!  I know it's been a while since I have written.  Since Leah's birthday to be clear.  My birthday party was at our house.
Most all my friends from school came to my party.
We hung around the play room.

 Raced down the steps.
I had four candles on my cake!
Everyone helped me blow them out.
Even Leah was in on some birthday party hat action!
After everyone left, my friends Finley and Brielle stayed for dinner and a second helping of birthday cake!  Yum!
Check out my birthday video!  Yes, it will make you dizzy...we are four year olds after all!

What's New? Leah's Two!

Saturday we had Leah's birthday party.  It was a fun party!  There was a bounce house (thanks to our neighbors:)
 And a hayride...or three!
Leah had fun!  And, yes, that is broccoli in her hand.  Nice snack, Leah.  Mommy must have you brainwashed.

This is Robert.  He is one of Leah's potential future husband. His mommy couldn't come on the hayride because she is having a baby in three weeks.
This is Daddy, also known as farmer Chris.
He took us faaaar away from our house.

And brought us to see the cows next door.

They actually came running to the fence!  What fun!

This is baby Addy.  She is at the daycare Leah goes too.  She is Miss Amanda's daughter that Leah dotes on all day.  She looks less that thrilled when her daddy put her in the hay.

Here's Robert again having fun with the balloons.
And here is Leah giving him a hug.  A far cry from her party last year when she tried to bite his hand off because he had food in it.
Then came my favorite part...CAKE!

We sang, she blew out the candles...
 and we ate!

Yum!

Look, Mom, No Training Wheels!

So today Daddy took Leah and I to his bike race while Mommy went shopping by herself.  For some reason Mommy likes to do that.  Anyway, one of Daddy's friend, Mr. Tom, gave me a new (to me) red and black bike.  If you recall, I already have a pink bike.  But the black and red bike has something the pink bike doesn't...PEDALS!
And while Daddy was racing, his friend Mr. Randy taught me how to ride it.
Check it out, NO TRAINING WHEELS!  I don't need them.
And I'm almost as fast as Daddy!
For some reason, Mommy sees lots of ER visits in my future!

Trick or Treat!

We got dressed up in our costumes the other night.  Mommy took us to her work for some trick or treating.
It was really easy to get some candy.  You just said "Trick or treat!" and then these nice people give you some candy and then you say "Thank you!"
Leah says something like "Tic a tic!" and then she says "Ank too".  If you are paying attention, you can get what she is trying to say.
I posed with some of Mommy's friends.
Leah was too busy counting up her lollipops, which she calls "poppops" by the way.
Here are all the kids that went trick or treating.  It was fun and we didn't get rained on since we were inside!
Now, if I could just figure out where Mommy hid the candy...
