My Birthday

My second birthday came and went really fast. Mommy keeps crying about me being a preschooler now and where did the time go. She keeps telling Leah not to grow up, although sleeping through the night would be okay. My birthday party was cancelled due to the flood of our downstairs including my playroom. I still got lots of presents though!
I got a princess sleeping bag so so that I can sleep like the big kids at daycare. I don't need the pack and play anymore.Funny thing is now I'm sleeping in a pack and play at home 'cause I won't stay in my big girl bed. But I have no problems sleeping in my princess sleeping bag at daycare. I just love driving my parents crazy:)I also got the TinkerBell movie
Tons of Play Doh!
And lastly, my favorite, roller skates.
I got money and books too. Those are always my favs too!
My mommy made me the ugliest cake ever seen. It's supposed to be a butterfly cake, but something went horribly wrong. Mommy put all those princesses on there hoping I wouldn't notice.

It still tasted good, so I ate it up with some ice cream! What a difference a year makes!

Winter Wonderland

So it snowed today. The last time it snowed, I couldn't walk yet and Mommy and Daddy just stuck me in the snow. This time I had to walk in it.
I wasn't really sure that I liked the snow sticking to my new snow boots. It was really hard walking through all that snow.
Leah and I posed with Mommy and Daddy.
That's alot of pink for one house. Poor Daddy:(
Then Mommy and I went next door and played with some neighbor kids. I got to ride on a sled and everything. Then I took off my gloves so I could make good snowballs.
I like snow after all!

Happy Thanksgiving and Other Ramblings

I hope everyone had a fun Thanksgiving. We went next door to Emma's house. There were a bunch of people there and we played alot. I went right to sleep that night. Here are me and Leah before dinner. Leah slept through the whole thing...even when people were holding her.
Here I am modeling the dress that Nanny made me.
And here I am making a hand puppet with my shirt. Talented, aren't I?
Here's Leah taking her first bath. She still has her yucky belly button thingy, so it was just a sponge bath. She slept through most of it and didn't like the rest of it.She was wide awake after. This is a rare moment unless it's 2 am!Here she is looking all innocent, like she's not keeping Mommy up all night.
I'm trying to teach her how to suck her thumb so we can make Mommy and Daddy buy us braces later on.
Sometimes she cries so much it stresses me out.So I do some Downward Dog to help me relax!
So far having a sister is pretty cool, I guess.

The Curse of Friday the 13th

Last Thursday Mommy and Daddy woke me up early for some reason. I wouldn't find out for a few days what that reason was. Mommy and Daddy dropped me off at Debbie Daycare. It wasn't my day, but I had fun because Jake and Colin were there. Then Nanny came and picked me up and I spent the weekend at Nanny and Pappy's house. I always have fun there.
Well apparently, while I was innocently playing on Friday, Mommy and Daddy had another baby. A baby sister.
Her name is Leah Nicole.
She's pretty darn cute.
And she sleeps alot!
This is her and Nanny. I can't believe I have to share Nanny and Pappy!
When I met her, she was in the swing. She loves the swing. Much more than I ever did. I hung out and watched her for a while.
She gave me a present. One of my favorite things...an airplane!
I guess she's pretty cool. Even when she makes silly faces like this.
Here's me helping Daddy with Leah. I hold the towel in case something spills.
I guess having a sister is pretty cool. I wish she could play with me though. But Mommy and Daddy say I have to wait a little.I'll keep you up to date on how it's going. The jury is still out on whether Friday the 13th is a curse or not!
