Merry Christmas

We've been doing alot of traveling, so I'm finally getting around to wishing everyone a Merry Christmas! On Christmas morning, I slept in until around 9. When I got up we went downstairs and opened gifts that Santa brought. I don't really get this whole unwrapping thing. I like to be very careful.
And when I get the present open just a little, I like to take the little parts out and taste them. Is that weird? After that we ate breakfast and then headed to Grandma's house in Pennsylvania. Uncle Paul and Aunt Angie were there too. Here all my presents had bows on them. I liked pulling off the bows.
After someone helped me with the paper, I got into opeing the boxes.I liked eating the bows though. We got home late and I slept in the next day. After breakfast we went to Nanny and Pappy's. Santa had left more gifts for me there! I was exhausted from opening presents! See all those presents behind Nanny? All mine!
I got a top. It's really fun!
I like this toy too. It has Mickey and Minnie in it.
Nanny made Mommy and I matching hats!I got two Amish bonnets. I kind of got one stuck on my head.
I got so many really cool gifts! I got this fun kitchen set. I'll post a video as soon as I master chocolate chip cookies! Anyway, I hope you Christmas was as good as mine. I'm sick today, wah! Oh and I started to play peek-a-boo by covering my eyes with my hands. Did you know you disappear when you cover your eyes?

Some Vids from my Party

First, Halina came over and we had a little baby rumble. I tell you in a few months we will be the same size and I'm going to get a woopin'. So for now, I'll try to get my licks in...Sorry Halina!

This is part of the chaos...

I'm not very good at opening presents yet. Jake helped me. Auntie Gail, I posted this just for you:)

Well, that's it for now! Remember, Christmas is coming!

Santa Claus is Comin' to Town!

Mommy and Daddy got me all dressed up on Thursday to go see a man with a white beard. His name is Santa Claus and supposedly he is going to bring me presents for Christmas. You can write letters to Santa, but I'm too small for that. So I just went to tell him what I wanted. First, though, I had to push a button to see how I rated on the 'Naughty or Nice' scale. I pushed the button.Mommy and I were nervous while we waited.
I'm not sure why we were nervous. Of course I'm on the Nice list. Have you ever met a nicer baby??
Then we went to the mailbox. When Mommy pulled it open...
There was a big gush of wind and snow that came out. I guess is was from the North Pole! How exciting.
The snow got all over me! I wasn't sure what to do.
I'm still in a little shock about the whole thing.
Then I went to sit on Santa's lap. I wasn't sure what to think at first. But I told him what I wanted for Christmas.
Then I posed for some pictures.

Afterwards, Santa gave me a button and a bracelet. He was a pretty cool guy.
Remember, Santa is watching, so you'd better be good...just like me!

You Say It's Your Birthday!!!!!

Well, today is my very FIRST birthday! My parents planned a very small party with just a couple of my friends and family. This is me playing with Maggie. She babysits me sometimes with her mom. She wrote a play for me for my birthday! This is Colin (future hubby) and Halina. Halina is going to be a big sister in June!
This is Jake. He's a little shy, but he's fun to play with.
This is Miss Amy...Jake and Colin's mommy.
This is Kaylee. She looks just like her mommy in this picture.
After playing with my friends, I got to eat cake. I must admit, I didn't really know what was going on at first. What was the deal with the candle? Anyway, is it really cake if there is no sugar in it? Don't ask me, my mommy made it. I'm just saying it tasted a little like twigs...not that I would know what twigs tasted like:)
The butterfly was actually cupcakes. The frosting was tasty.
Okay, I will admit that I did like the cake. It just took some getting used to.
That's me, the birthday Princess!
Then, there was even more fun. I got to open presents!
Jake helped me. He was a little more excited than me 'cause he has done this before. I got a baby doll!
And some books...
And a really cool ride on car! It's pink and purple, my favorites!
After the party, I took a big nap. Then after I woke up and called my cousins. They sang
'happy birthday' to me. Then I ate the phone:)
Well, I had a great day. Just remember, Christmas is right around the corner!

Road Trip

My mommy took me downtown on Thursday to visit her friend Miss Janet and her kids, AJ, Luke and Sam. We walked from Janet's house to the Science Center. OK, Mommy and Miss Janet walked and the rest of us rode. Anyway, there is this room upstairs for little kids like us. There is even a room just for teeny kids like me. We didn't go there, I liked hanging with the bigger kids. We had the whole place to ourselves! It was so much fun! The first thing I played with was the train table.
Okay, all I really did was chew on the train tracks! But I had fun walking around the table.
This is Sam, I think. And this is Luke (I think). I'm not sure 'cause they are twins and look very much alike.
Luke was playing in the water. I think that will be one of my favorite activities at the Science Center when I'm a little older. I love water! The boys were very nice to me and shared with me.
I tasted everything I played with just to make sure it wasn't a snack for me.
AJ threw me these small beach balls. I had a blast paying with them.
It's a good thing I crawl fast 'cause they kept rolling away.
This is AJ. He's the oldest brother. Doesn't he have a great smile?
I had so much fun, I passed out for three hours when we got home! I can't wait to see them again!
