V-Day

Since I have recovered from last Friday's activities, let me tell you about my Valentine's Day. It started out fun with the usual eating, hanging out with my mommy and then a ride on my swing. Mommy dressed me head to toe in red. In the afternoon, Mommy and I got into the car and went for a ride. I thought we were going shopping or something, but we went to the doctor. Apparently, I turned two months old that day too.

I'm not sure if you know what happens when you turn two, but it's not pretty. It started out nice enough. Mommy stripped me down to my diaper (I love to be naked) and the nurse measured how long I was--23 inches, how big my head was--38 cm, and then we went to the scale--I weighed 9 pounds and 4 ounces. Then Dr. Galita came in. He's nice, he let's me sit on Mommy's lap while he tickles me and tells Mommy how good I'm growing. Then something happened that I never want to go through again...

Dr. Galita left the room and a new nurse, an evil nurse came in the room. She seemed okay at first when she gave me a little drink, but then it began and I thought it would never end. She stuck me with these needles, not once, not twice, but FIVE times. Twice in each leg and once in my arm. I shrieked and shrieked so loud it hurt my own ears. Fortunately, my mommy is smart. She brought a little bottle for me. When she popped that bottle in my mouth, I forgot all about the pain and remembered how much I enjoy eating. Life is good.

We went straight home, I ate some more and then slept the rest of the day! I hope your Valentine's Day was good.
